My Twitter-friend Tomoe @tomoe_0ct3 told me about the amabie (#アマビエ), an Edo Period Yokai who emerged from the sea and promised to cure the sick. People have been sharing their sketches of amabie on Twitter, so here are two versions I drew. ❤ Which do you prefer? @dwvcd
I drew Amabie, a yokai said to bring a bountiful harvest and protect against epidemic if you show someone its likeness. I love this creature's concept!
